I am trying to find out if the Raush Ind. store will be open this year and if so when and where? Will the Radko products be on sale then, also? I would appreciate a reply. I am inquiring about the location in Gastonia, NC 28052. Thank you.

I have two of the Royal Electric Co Santa’s that light up. One is flat on the back and one is a full Santa. They both have a “cup” in their left hand. I have always wondered what goes in the cup and your blog is the only place I’ve ever seen a picture of one so I was hoping you might know something about them. The picture of your Santa looks like it has a green cap or plug over the cup but neither of my Santa’s have that and I can’t figure out what it’s supposed to be for. Any information you could give me would be appreciated. Thank you.

I’ve seen these santas holding a green plastic tree. The one I have with the green plug is likely the base of the tree with the tree itself missing. I wasn’t able to locate a photo to show you, but will continue to look and when I find it, I’ll do a blog post on it.

  4. Hi
I would like to touch up some blow molds. Can you recommend a type of paint or marker that is best for that ?

    Thanks

I would like to know how to re-paint/touch up the blow molds. I have the Mr. & Mrs Easter Bunny. Is there a special paint that will not leave brush strokes that can be seen when they are lite up at night time? I have seen some that have been re-painted and they did not turn out to well. I was told by a craft store to buy paint for plastic and add a paint conditioner-Flotrul and this is to prevent brush strokes. Any suggestions?

You have these pieces listed on your page:

    “Mordecai Mansion”
    and “Walter and Larry’s Crypt”
    and “halloween clock tower”

Are they still in stock and can they be ordered?

I am not an authorized retailer for Department 56 and only occasionally acquire items in the used marketplaces for resale. I’m not sure which blog post you are looking at, but I post the new releases and retirements that Dept 56 does each year. If these are retired items, then you will need to look at secondary market sources to find them most likely. Authorized retailers may have them in stock still. I’d check the department 56 website to see if they have them in stock and to look up their list of authorized retailers for one near you.

I have an old vintage nativity set that I beleive is Fontanini although it doesn’t say the name on the pieces. I see the numbers 332 300 and Made in Italy. Are those numbers consistent with pieces Fontanini made?

I have a plastic Moravian Star purchased several years back. It was from your company in Gastonia, NC. I would like to know if it is still possible to get replacement parts? I am in need of the one point that holds the electrical component. Is there any chance of finding this so that I can use my star again? Item #4652. Thank you.

    • gmastree says:

From Grandma’s Tree is not located in Gastonia, NC. You don’t mention which company made your Moravian Star, so you might direct your question to the company in question.
